Hummus
This is my "go to" recipe for hummus. It is very simple, so whether you are a novice in the kitchen or an expert, this is sure to turn out great. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

- 1 can of chickpeas
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp cumin
- 4 pickled jalapenos add more if desired
- 4 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp seasoning salt
- 1 tbsp tahini
- 1/2 tsp pickled jalapeno juice up tp 1 tsp
Rinse and drain chickpeas
Combine all ingredients into a blender
Blend until texture is smooth
Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup water to thin (as needed)
Top with cilantro if desired
