Combine water, sugar, and yeast. Stir, then allow to sit 10 minutes or until foamy.
Add remaining ingredients and knead for approximately 7 minutes.
Cover and allow to rise for 60 to 90 minutes, or until the dough doubles in size.
Punch down the dough, then divide in half.
Shape into two loaves, then place each into a greased loaf pan.
Cover and allow to rise 45 to 60 minutes, or until the dough doubles in size.
Brush an egg wash on each each loaf, then bake at 350 °F for 25 to 30 minutes.
