Gingerbread Syrup

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tbsp molasses
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp allspice

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients except for the vanilla.
    Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat. Mix in vanilla, and allow to cool.
