Method
- Melt the stick of butter in a small pot over medium heat.
- Add egg yolks, lemon juice, and milk to the melted butter and continually whisk for about 3 to 5 minutes, or until sauce starts to get thick and frothy. Remove from heat.
- If adding optional cayenne pepper, sprinkle it in and stir. Serve immediately.
