Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 yellow onion diced
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ginger minced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, onion, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  2. In a skillet, add chopped ground beef and cook on medium-high with the sesame oil until well done.
  3. Add the soy sauce mixture to the ground beef and combine. Allow to simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Serve over white rice.
