Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar packed
- 1/2 yellow onion diced
- 1/2 tsp fresh ginger minced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, onion, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
- In a skillet, add chopped ground beef and cook on medium-high with the sesame oil until well done.
- Add the soy sauce mixture to the ground beef and combine. Allow to simmer for a few minutes.
- Serve over white rice.
