Ingredients
Beef Patties
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1/3 cup bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Gravy Mix
- 2 packets brown gravy mix
- 2 cups hot water
- 1 tsp ketchup
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- red wine (optional)
- mushrooms (optional)
Instructions
- Add all patty ingredients to a large bowl. Mix with your hands, then divide into eight balls and flatten into patties.
- Heat 1 tbsp avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook each patty until it is no longer pink in the center. Remove patties and skillet from heat.
- Pour the gravy mixture, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and hot water into a skillet. Whisk to combine. Sautee and stir until the gravy begins to thicken. Add 1/4 cup additional water to the gravy if it becomes too thick.
- Add the patties back into the skillet and allow to mix with the gravy.
