Ingredients
  

Beef Patties
  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
Gravy Mix
  • 2 packets brown gravy mix
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1 tsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • red wine (optional)
  • mushrooms (optional)

Method
 

  1. Add all patty ingredients to a large bowl. Mix with your hands, then divide into eight balls and flatten into patties.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook each patty until it is no longer pink in the center. Remove patties and skillet from heat.
  3. Pour the gravy mixture, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and hot water into a skillet. Whisk to combine. Sautee and stir until the gravy begins to thicken. Add 1/4 cup additional water to the gravy if it becomes too thick.
  4. Add the patties back into the skillet and allow to mix with the gravy.
