Chinese Pork Meatballs

Ingredients
  

Meatballs
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp 5-spice powder
  • 2 pinches ground white pepper
  • 3 tbsp peanut oil
Sauce
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 2-3 tbsp sriracha sauce optional
  • green onions or chives for garnish

Method
 

Sauce
  1. Add all sauce ingredients to a medium sized bowl and combine, then set aside.
Meatballs
  1. In a large bowl, combine all of the meatball ingredients.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet
  3. Form meat mixture into small sized meatballs. Place in skillet and heat until brown.
  4. Place meatballs in a baking dish and cover with the sauce.
  5. Bake at 350 F for 15-20 minutes.
