Ingredients
  

Brownies
  • 1 cup salted butter melted
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 tsp vanilla extract
Frosting
  • 1/4 cup salted butter softened
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 cups powdered sugar

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F
  2. Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. In an electric mixer bowl, add the melted butter and cocoa powder. Using the paddle attachment, blend until smooth.
  4. Add the flour and sugar and beat together, then add eggs and vanilla. Mix just until combined. Don't over mix.
  5. Pour the batter into the baking dish and spread out evenly. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove brownies from the oven and allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before frosting. The brownies should be warm when you frost them.
Frosting
  1. Beat together all of the ingredients for the frosting until smooth. Pour over the brownies and spread.
