Yellow Cake
Ingredients
- 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1½ cups granulated sugar
- 3½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1¼ cups milk
- ⅛ cup vegetable oil
- ½ cup butter softened
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
Instructions
- In a medium sized bowl, add flour, sugar, baking powder , and salt.
- Place softened butter into a stand mixer and mix on medium for 1 - 2 minutes.
- Place dry ingredients into stand mixer and combine with butter for 30 seconds.
- Add milk, oil, vanilla, and eggs. Mix on medium-high for one minute.
- Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake at 350℉ for 20-25 minutes for 8-inch pans, 30-38 minutes for 9x13 pans. For cupcakes, start checking around 15 minutes.
