Chocolate Syrup

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • cup cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Combine the sugar and water in a medium saucepan, then heat on medium until sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. Once the sugar is dissolved, stir in the cacao powder until thoroughly combined.
  3. Bring mixture to a steady boil.
  4. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Remove from heat and add the vanilla.
  6. Allow to cool and transfer into a container of your choiuce.
