Big Mac Sloppy Joe
Ingredients
For The Ground Beef Mix
- 1-1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1/2 yellow onion
- 1/4 cup hamburger pickles chopped
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
For The Mac Sauce
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup French dressing
- 2 tbsp sweet relish
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
For Assembling The Sandwiches
- 8 hamburger buns
- 2 cups iceburg lettuce shredded
- 12 hamburger pickle chips optional
- 4 slices American cheese
Instructions
- Add the Mac sauce ingredients in a medium bowl and stir well.
- Using a large skillet, brown your ground beef about half way (3-4 minutes), then add in the chopped onions, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
- Continue cooking the beef until fully browned (3-4 minutes), then add in the chopped pickles.
- Add 1 cup of the Mac sauce to the ground beef mixture and cook 1 additional minute.
- To assemble your copycat sandwiches, assemble in the following order:- bottom bun- sauce- lettuce- cheese- ground beef mixture- pickles (optional)- top bun
